Dewald van Staden
Dewald has been involved in Management, Operation & Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Treatment Works since he joined Enviro Metsi in 1999, both for works which Enviro Metsi operates and maintains and by providing process monitoring inputs to external clients to assist them in operating the works under their control in an effective and efficient manner
In addition to these functions, he is currently also actively involved in the management of the Blue Drop / Green Drop criteria, both in-house and for external clients. This also led him to qualify as a Blue Drop / Green Drop Inspector where he acts as a consultant to the Department of Water and Sanitation during the assessments.
Dewald is furthermore involved in training. This includes CPD accredited training as well as credit-bearing training to Process Controllers. He furthermore acts as Subject Matter Expert for the EWSETA and assists them with matters pertaining to accreditation and external moderation
